9:00am: Workshop 1:Dr. Jim Newcomer discussed The Call - focusing on the steady anchor of God's call that will hold strong for decades of pastoral ministry.
10:00am: Coffee Break
10:20am: Workshop 2: Dr. Newcomer met with the men to discuss The Falls - focusing on the private integrity of the pastor, exposing the lies of temptation that can lead to pastoral failure. Lori Newcomer met with the women to discuss The Helps- Lorie will biblically and practically reflect on the wife's understanding of her husband's pastoral calling and the key role she plays in his ministry.

11:25am: Workshop 3: Dr. Newcomer discussed The Quals - Dr. Newcomer will lean into the qualifications of pastoral ministry and how they must have deep roots in the pastoral marriage and home.

Dr. Jim Newcomer, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and his wife, Lorie, will address the theme: The Home Turf: Fortifying the Shepherd-Couple Home. In 2023, Dr. Newcomer spoke about fortifying the shepherd-couples from external attacks (e.g., critics and trials).
