Intercultural Ministry follows on the heels of the principles learned in Mission and Evangelism and seeks to further explore key insights gleaned from the worlds of cultural anthropology and intercultural communication and apply them to intercultural ministry. This course is designed to help students who seek to develop an intentional and appropriate intercultural ministry which will enable them to effectively make disciples of Jesus Christ of men and women from all nations.
As a result of taking this course, the student will be able to:
Dr. Dan Seely (Missions Pastor at Colonial Baptist Church) and his wife Karis have been a part of Colonial for more than 20 years. Shortly after they were married in 2000, they moved to Hampton Roads for Dan to study at VBTS. While working on his M.Div., Dan served for one year as a pastoral intern at Colonial. Read more....
